On Longing Responses "The body is the primary mode of perceiving scale." When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at a family friend's haunted house every year around Halloween. One of my favorite things about this house was the giant pumpkin hand-made from construction materials. In photos of just the pumpkin itself, the viewer cannot perceive the large scale of it, so standing next to the giant sculpture gives more information of just how large it is. "Capacity of objects to serve as traces of authentic experience." This photo was taken in the middle of urban Atlanta at a wedding venue just next to a large set of train tracks. The authentic experience of the filing cabinets has changed and has now become a source of growth for the nature around it.
